RoFMI Visit to Denmark Feb18 to 22 2010

Well – what do I say? Where do I start? Revival is coming to Scandinavia. The Lord tells us that within 2 years the whole of Scandinavia will be in full revival. Not a one or two day ‘revival’ as advertised by so many churches. Full blown, solid gold, hallmarked at every corner revival like that of Wales, Azusa Street, the Hebrides, and many other places. It is coming. It is coming. The trouble is that I cannot share much of it all here – it will upset the balance and achieve for him what Satan is not able to achieve for himself. It could kill it off before it really gets going. But I get ahead of myself 

There we were, nice and early on the flight to Copenhagen. Just John & I this time because Peter had only got back from Norway a couple of hours before we left for Denmark. Peter did actually join us on Saturday but more of that later. SO it was that we arrived in Copenhagen Kostrup Airport around 10:00a.m. to be met by dear friend Preben, our ministry partner in Denmark. I have to say right now that, having now experienced that which Peter does time after time after time, I now realise just how tiring it can be and just how much we have to rely on the Lord. By ourselves we just cannot do it. Only with His input and His supernatural energy can we do it.

We arrived to see snow everywhere – not very deep, but nevertheless snow. So we had a very pretty drive from Kastrup to Korsør. After lunch we went to see a local family, Susannah & Gunnar at Svenstrøp – about 20km from Korsør. After a time of fellowship, prayer, and ministry, we moved back to Korsør for an early dinner with a lovely young lady, Charlotte and more fellowship and prayer. From there we drove the 50km to Holbaek where we had previously visited Linda and Søren and their new cell group. The first thing we learned was that one lady, Lokke, had been healed of thyroid problems sufficient to preclude the necessity of surgery. Then Søren confirmed that he had been healed of foot and ankle problems and of a reflux problem which had caused him grief for several years. We heard a wonderful testimony from a lady called Mercy and, following a good time of ministry we entered into prayer for more healing for those present – including Linda and Søren’s daughter Sara. There were also words of encouragement for many people – especially Linda and Søren themselves. We finally got to bed around 2a.m. – a 22 hour day !! Zzzzzzzzzzzzz

The next day, Friday, saw us at the lovely home of Lars and Henrietta except that Henrietta was not there. SO Lars and Preben suggested John and I take some air and go for a walk with them. As we were right by the sea this seemed a great idea and we set off to find ourselves wading through calf deep snow !! About 2 hours and 5km or so later we arrived back ‘home’ to a very welcome cup of coffee and some even more welcome local home-made cakes. Actually the walk was exhilarating. We saw all sorts of wild life and waded through more snow than I can shake a stick at. Most surprisingly of all – we remained dry and very warm throughout the walk. Unsurprisingly we met not a soul all the time we were out – at least not until we were nearly back again. A time of fellowship and some prophetic words for Lars (& Henrietta in her absence) concluded the visit and we drove back into Korsør once again.

A very short break and on to a lovely lady called Anna-Lise in central Korsør where Preben had arranged for us to meet Erik & Mona. This wonderful couple have spent many years ministering among street children in Romania. It turned out that we had another acquaintance in common in another worker in Arad, Romania – a man called Lee who has been working with street children for many years. There were many words and confirmations including an extraordinary one by John. He spoke about Erik working with government officials over there to change things for these thousands of street children. This was an amazing confirmation of something Erik had been involved with some years ago when the then American President had sent an emissary to Romania and this man had met with Erik and recommended him to the Romanian government as the man to help with the restructuring of the law regarding the street children into more Christian lines !!! Erik and Mona had found the document produced at the time, and had been reminded of the ‘tasking’ just 2 days before we got there !!

After dinner back at Preben & Maureen’s home, we met with our old friends Preben and Bente once again for a short time of fellowship. Bente is the brave lady who does all our interpreting in Korsør and the Preben is the one who plays harmonicas for the praise and worship team. This was overtake only too quickly by their weekly prayer meeting in the church. Around 90% of the church members turned up – an astonishing figure and one which I would like to think other, larger churches should aim at emulating. I stood up to talk about us NOT taking God for granted but He changed that and I ended up managing to speak a few words of encouragement to everyone and we had an extended time of healing prayer and prophecy for everyone present. Bed again at 2:00a.m.

Saturday was the day Peter joined us. He was picked up at Kastrup and taken to Kai and Annette’s house in Køle – just outside Copenhagen. We had lunch there with their motorcycle group of about 15 people, then we settled down for a fellowship meeting with them all. There followed one of the most amazing testimonies I have ever heard from one of the group. This is the part where I disappoint you all because part of the testimony was the establishment, in the name of Jesus, of a bridge between two traditional enemies. That it took place in a court room and even left the judge slack-jawed may be all that I can tell you for now but it gives just a tiny flavour and, please believe me, the significance of it could be so far reaching that it blows the mind. What does scripture say – “more than you can dream or even think...”? Regarding the work this group is doing, Peter gave them this very brief Word from the Lord – “I have made preparation – Not one will be lost.” And this brought great joy to all of them.

You see, some things are of such importance that it would simply be foolish to try to tell about them before the right time. We have asked these lovely people to keep a journal so that one day, the book may be written. As Peter also remarked, “Revival is as much a threat as a benefit because judgement will start in the house of the Lord.” We believe that righteousness is coming to Denmark and all of Scandinavia – and it is coming soon.

Saturday evening was another meeting which, really, simply followed on from where the afternoon one left off. So after a time of praise and worship, Peter asked the group what they would like him to speak about and he ended up with Matthew 10:8 “......drive out demons ......” and Peter ended up giving them a basic teaching on deliverance ministry. Then some fun started as he named about 30 demons present around the table. He was asked if they could all be driven out with one command? Yes – it was done when Jesus came to the mad man and the Gadarene herd of pigs. Hmm – the noise level around the table immediately started to rise and it was getting quite noisy. Both Peter and I knew immediately what was happening so I called (or rather bellowed) for silence and told them that all the demons in the were manifesting noisily to try to distract us from casting them out. In one sentence Peter cast them out and then taught the group about how they would try to return and that “Satan – you are a liar.” That seemed to do the trick.

Sunday dawned snowing again but it soon stopped and Peter and John set out for Kalundborg where Peter was to speak. I stayed to speak in Korsør. This is the fourth time I have spoken in Korsør so the people must have good staying power. I had been asked by Preben to speak about either Prayer & Fasting, or about Helping the Poor & Needy. No contest – as I asked him in the meeting, “Do I look like someone who knows a lot about fasting??” Preben may be built like a racing snake – I am more comfortably built however – let’s leave it at that. The Lord had immediately asked me “Who is my neighbour?” and I had planned to talk on that but Preben had also showed me a DVD of Bill Hibels of Willow Creek Church speaking about 1st Century Church in the 21st Century – a subject about which I too have written. The amazing thing is that their group bible study for this next week is all about the 1st Century church and how it operated. Don’t you just love it when the Lord lines things up so neatly for us??

In Kalundborg, Peter spoke on 1Kings 17:1-3 and the authority of a prophet. God is restoring the prophetic. In Kalundborg, prophesies have been fulfilled quickly with new families coming into their church. Real breakthrough is happening there and he called into existence buildings which will come to them free of charge. Children will not be in Sunday School – rather they will be in the church laying hands on the sick and taking a full part in all the meetings.

Both churches had a good time of prayer and prophecy and we all ended up, after a time, back in the car and on the road to Fredericia in the southern part of Jutland or Jylland as it is known locally. It’s about 80 to 100km from Korsør and involves crossing two large Islands and then driving North to find Fredericia. Pastors Grada and Fleming, and Mickal met us there. They have a small cafe church in the town. Usually attended by maybe 10 or 12 people, there were 37 people waiting for us from all over Jutland (!!!) and after a time of inspired praise and worship Peter spoke about the RoFMI ministry with many stories of what we have experienced this last year or so. We had prayer and words of prophecy for all who asked and eventually we left again for Korsør.

We eventually arrived at Tonny and Ohn’s house where we thought it was just the family but news had got around and half the church turned up and we had a wonderful time of simple extended fellowship. A word here for Tonny and Preben. Until now, Preben has done most of our driving. This time Tonny did a great deal of it thus relieving Preben of the added pressure of getting us from A to B on time every time. So our particular thanks to them both.

Next trip to Denmark is 25-29 March and it is already over-subscribed so we may well have to split up and do two or three meetings in different towns.

Exciting isn’t it?

RoFMI Visit Report to Holland January 2010

Off again – this time to Wieringerwerf in Holland to the home of Jan & Grada (or Grace) van Damme. Another visit to Holland? So soon after the first one? Its February 4th – how come this is our 5th official RoFMI visit this year? There is only one possible answer to that – when the Lord tells us to go – we go. So it was that at the very civilised hour of 4:15 P.M. Peter, John, & myself, Chris, once more set off for Stansted Airport in order to catch the 18:50 flight this time to Amsterdam and arriving there at 20:55.We came out at exit 3 into a barn of an arrivals hall only to discover the arrivals board saying we would come out at exit 4 so off we all went to find our host Jan van Damme waiting for us at the “correct” meeting point. About an hour later we arrived at the van Damme’s farm in Wieringerwerf some 70km from Amsterdam in the far North of the country. There we met Grace and Mascha (pronounced almost like Marcia) – their eldest daughter.

Over some very welcome soup – SOUP???? First soup I ever saw with half the national vegetable harvest plus noodles and meat balls in it !! – soup and biscuits we started what became a nightly interlude. Words of prophecy and Words of Knowledge started to come about 15 minutes after we arrived and many previous prophecies were confirmed and re-ignited. There were words for Jan & Grada (Jan & Grace – boy this is gonna get confusing but more of that later) – words for Mascha and her husband John-Rudolph as well as prayers for all of them plus the children Joshua and Deborah (asleep upstairs) There were also words of more general prophecy for their church; for Holland; and a time of wonderful warm fellowship which ended when we fell into bed around 2:00a.m. There were words about revival coming to Holland & Europe BEFORE UK; and through small unknown ministries and churches and people. “The candlestick is being taken from the big ministries and given back to the unknown ones”.

Saturday dawned cold and misty (sea mist) – well this is sort of Central Western Europe in winter so you didn’t expect sunshine – right?? Jan & Grace took us for a rare treat as he gave us a tour of the locality – something we normally don’t have time for. We went to all the nearby villages and even found a local moated castle – very touristy – and ended up at a wonderful cake shop. Why does this always happen to us – we try so hard not to be food magnets but hey – someone has to do it. The tour took in the famous dykes which were built to eject the sea and build up the Dutch ‘Polders’ – land reclaimed from the sea and usually a couple of metres below sea level. We eventually wandered back home where Joshua and Deborah had arrived home from school. After a late meal, we went over the ‘farmyard’ (now a car park) to the church in a corner of one of their two vast barns. What a site they have there !! Immediately the Lord gave us visions and words for this site – conference centre with TV studio for 1500 people in one barn; healing centre and training school in the other one; helipad . . . and so on. Much of what we spoke out was confirmation but much was also new and the delighted van Damme family were all praising God with us.

Then it was time for the Friday evening meeting as at 7:30p.m. about 30 faithful souls assembled. Peter spoke on Acts 3:1-10 and we prayed for and gave words to all present. The presence of the Holy Spirit was very obvious to all as we praised and worshipped the Lord. Bed relatively early at 2:00a.m.

NB – I can only give you a brief précis of what went on – there is so much happening on these trips and much is very personal. All the above and we had barely been there 24 hours.

Saturday morning was free to spend with the family and after lunch we assembled once more in the church to meet with a couple of other local leaders plus our partners in Holland, John & Grada Hofman. (TWO couples both called John & Grada – hmm confusing so one couple is correctly spelt/called Jan & Grace – OK??) Ton & Yoka (actually spelled Joke) Zijp pastor a church in Den Helder, a few kilometres from Wieringerwerf and they received some very encouraging words before Ton spoke a word about “bringing the prophets together” and we started talking about a prophetic gathering we have already got in the diary for Norway in May. Ton and Yoka were invited to join us at this event. John & Grada (Hofman) also received words of encouragement and we had a good time of fellowship together before they had to get on the road once again. Ton and Yoka stayed on for a while longer and we had a great time together.

The evening fellowship, which started at 7:30p.m., was another session of wonderfully encouraging words of knowledge and prophecies for nearly all those present. Our John did a great intro, aided and abetted by Peter who kept telling him to “tell them about . . . .” and John related stories from our visits to other places – stories that raised people’s faith levels and encouraged many of them further. We seem to be able to reach many who are on the point of giving up their ministry and re-invigorating them or re-inspiring them with words of knowledge and prophecy. John related stories from Denmark, Spain, Belgium and the first visit to Holland just four weeks previously. During this meeting I also received from the Lord and realised that “problems” I have had recently have all been part of paying the price and the Lord crucifying my flesh – so I was more than encouraged too. We heard a word about live internet broadcasts and thoughts immediately went to the Bible School where the May prophetic event will be held and where they have these facilities. The Peter gave the most powerful word yet from Ezekiel 37 on how Holland is currently a “Valley of Dry Bones” where the Lord is going to bring together and breathe new life into those dry bones in Holland. He even prophesied the course that revival will take in terms of start and finish places and the path or route between them !! We ended by proclaiming it and calling in the people from North, South, East, and West. Amazingly powerful time. Bed at 2:30 a.m.

Feels like we’ve been here a week but its only Sunday. The 11a.m. meeting was very well attended again where I was called forward to introduce RoFMI but ended up prophesying to Jan & Grace. Peter then spoke on Amos 3:7 then 2 Kings 6:8-22 – how one man, Elisha, defeated the massed armies of a whole nation. He finished with this – “there is no more renewal for the church. You have had so much renewal and you have not taken it outside to the unsaved – so now I can only send revival.” Peter repeated that this will be a time of small ministries as so many of the big ones are corrupt and will fall in the shaking that is to come. Judgement begins in the House of the Lord – us – the church. Peter then went on to talk about Acts 1:8 and Acts 2:4

In the evening we were all driven by John-Rudolph (Marsha’s husband) to Amsterdam to a large church where there was a great healing meeting. It was wonderful with many healed – several getting out of wheelchairs !! Hallelujah \o/ After a final time of fellowship back at the farm we finally got to bed around 02:45 although someone had given his passport to me for safe keeping and spent a good while searching for it before waking me up to ask if I had it !!

So we rose again at 5:00a.m. for an early flight home to be met by Peters daughter Ruth and taken to his home for a final coffee before I drove myself the final 110km or 70+ miles home. I wondered how we could keep the hours and energy we manage on these visits. It has to be supernaturally supplied by the Lord – doesn’t it.

All GLORY to Him \o/ Amen?

RoFMI News Letter

I have just had to change my blog account for some reason. Not quite sure why but here I am again. Something to do with having a Google account I think.

Anyway - blessings all round. Here is the latest News Letter from RoFMI

Dear Brothers & Sisters around the world

As our web site is still struggling to get right, or rather as I am still struggling to get it right, we thought that a quick update on activities and planned visits might be in order.

As you all know, we have had a very hectic start to 2010 with January visits to Holland, Denmark, locally in the UK, and Norway. Reports are available if you would like them. This last weekend was our first weekend 'off' and even the people in my own church asked "I'm . . . - who are you?" They were joking I think - but you never know :-)

The Lord is blessing us with many new contacts and opportunities and we all know that He doesn't give us opportunities if He doesn't want us to take them. So at the moment our schedule looks like this :-

Feb 4-8 Holland when we visit Jan & Grada van Damme, The House of the Lord Church, Wieringerwerf, Holland
Feb 16-17 Norway (Peter only) to visit Hans Petter Thue in Frederikstad
Feb 18-22 Denmark (John & I) to visit Maureen & Preben Westh in Korsor and some local churches
Feb 20-22 Denmark (Peter joins us)
March 4-8 Holland to visit John & Grada Hofman and churches/ministries in Amsterdam
March 25-29 Denmark to visit Maureen & Preben Westh in Korsor and some local churches once more
April 2-5 Easter at home
April 10 Ruth & Keith get married
April 17 Kept free for Peter but John & I may be available ??
May 6-10 Norway for a Prophetic Conference and Training in KraftSkole in Vale(?)

All other dates are free at the moment although there are some pencilled in the diary but still to be confirmed.

So you can see that it is a very busy year so far and doesn't look like easing up at all. In fact we are all praying for God's will as to whether we should now start to go out in two small groups of two or three with Peter leading one group and me leading the other group. Please add these to your prayers for us.

Thats the diary and progress so far but we are believing the Lord for wonderful things in 2010 - for more salvations; for wonderful miracles (signs and wonders following); for new contacts; even for some media dates !!

As I said - just a quick update for you and a big thank you for all your prayers
