Indescribable

Jesus Amazing Love for Us

I recently coined this very short word on FB & Twitter – “Indescribable, inexhaustible, inexpressible, incomprehensible, unconditional and incredible - that’s Jesus' amazing love for you”. A friend almost immediately sent me a YouTube video clip of Chris Tomlin singing his own song, “Indescribable”. The words simply struck a big chord with me and, to me, they are worth sharing with everyone I meet. It really does make me fall to my knees – awestruck and humbled by God’s perfect creation, timing, and love for us.

Indescribable, uncontainable,
You placed the stars in the sky and You know them by name.

Awestruck we fall to our knees as we humbly proclaim
You are amazing God

Who has told every lightning bolt where it should go
Or seen heavenly storehouses laden with snow
Who imagined the sun and gives source to its light
Yet conceals it to bring us the coolness of night
None can fathom

Indescribable, uncontainable,
