Come the Hour

NOW is the time

The time for thinking about it is over. The time for letting others do it is over. It is time for YOU – every single one of you – to enter into God’s promises for all of us.

Isaiah 60:1-3 "Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you. See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and his glory appears over you. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn.”

What a promise this is. Everyone thinks about Isaiah 61 – The Lord has anointed me to preach good news etc. This, Isaiah 60:1-3, is a NOW word from God. It is time and the time is NOW. The signs of the times have been with us for some time. Like Lot as he fled Sodom and Gomorrah, don’t look back. It is time to look forward. It is the time of the Lord for a great awakening. The past is where it belongs – in the past.

Clear the decks, get ready, for the Lord of Hosts is about to enter into His Glory and bring it to where you are. Holy Spirit is seeking out those places where He will be welcomed and where He can make a habitation for the Lord – that is where His Glory will be. For the Lord inhabits the praises of His people - Psalm 22:3 (AMP) “But You are holy, O You Who dwell in the holy place where the praises of Israel are offered.” Or the NKJV “But You are holy, Enthroned in the praises of Israel.”

Many times I have seen the ‘cloud as big as a man’s hand’ inching slowly towards us. NOW is the time for that cloud to overtake us and for the rain to fall. NOW is the time for the Glory of the Lord to be seen amongst us. NOW is the time for the move of God so eagerly awaited by all who read the signs of the times. NOW is the time for the church to be ready to receive their Lord and an outpouring of His love and power.

What else is there to say except, “Come Lord Jesus. Take your place among us. Have your way among us. Make us a fit habitation for you. Use us to reach the world with your love and your power by your Holy Spirit.”

Amen - Let the Praises ring.
