Heed
the Call
I believe this is a heart-cry from God to His
Church. It is both a prophecy and a command – a Rhema Word right from the
throne room of God.
“PASTORS AND PREACHERS PAY ATTENTION!!!!
Preach JESUS!! Feed the poor, Heal the sick, Look after the widows and leave POLITICS to those in government...
Don't be sucked into life draining meetings that only shake the coffee and not the earth!!
Preach the LIFE, DEATH, AND RESURRECTION of JESUS.
Preach the POWER of the HOLY SPIRIT
Preach the TRUTH that is HEAVEN OR HELL
Preach the LOVE of GOD in HOLY JUSTICE and RIGHTEOUSNESS
Preach the SALVATIONS MESSAGE
and DO IT NOW!” - Justin (PJ) Robinson, Victoria, Australia

I
believe the first line is simply a call to fulfil the great commission.
Then
we have a warning against all the man-made programs and busy-ness of the church
as against its willingness to do God’s bidding. God wants more ‘building
shaking’ moments – just like in Acts 4:31 – when God shakes our world and sends
Holy Spirit in power.
Finally
comes the commission to preach, to preach again, and to preach again. Preaching
LIFE into the church and into the world. If the church is dead in it’s
activities, how can she preach salvation to a lost world.
Oh
Church, this is such a powerful Word – how can we not obey??
Heed
this call - JUST DO IT.
I like this and totally agree. This has been on my mind a lot lately, especially with The Waldo Canyon Fire here in Colorado Springs. It is amazing how many people are upset over things lost.
ReplyDeleteThank you Pastor Kaye. I believe there is a rising tide of those both inside and outside the church who are sick and tired of listening to the church’s “ear tickling” messages of a wishy-washy gospel. People are turning once again to the real Gospel message for hope and salvation for themselves and for those near and dear to them.
DeleteGreat message Chris. We all need to "Take to Heart ALL the WORDS..." Blessings!
ReplyDeleteDeuteronomy 32:45-47
And when Moses had finished speaking all these words to Israel, he said to them, “Take to heart all the words by which I am warning you today, that you may command them to your children, that they may be careful to do all the words of this law. For it is no empty word for you, but your very life, and by this word you shall live long in the land that you are going over the Jordan to possess.”
When I first saw this message it spoke right into my heart. Thank you for all your great encouragement El - you are a great blessing to me and to many others too.
