Bold as a Child

Bold as a Lion yet as a Child

We have just had the most amazing Sunday services – all topsy-turvy. This last Sunday morning Pastor led worship and our Worship Pastor preached. This evening, the other, more normal way around except no preaching but Pastor led us without preaching.

At both sessions, the anointing was so thick you could have cut it with a knife. At both sessions it felt like we were in the Glory cloud. This morning was all about repentance. This evening was about coming before God - bold as a lion through the torn veil, but coming as children in simple trusting faith. Everything came about through worship.

We came boldly to the throne – bold as a lion. We sang. We worshipped. We danced. We shouted. We whispered. We prayed and we praised. In a prophetic act, we passed through the veil, rent for us at Calvary. We came before the throne of Grace in wonder praise and worship. We threw out logic. We dismissed theology. We defied reason. We became as children before our Father in heaven and we sang and danced and clapped and – well – we just worshipped our Saviour – King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

It was a night when we all prayed, “Cast me not from your presence oh Lord, Take not your Holy Spirit from me.”(Ps51) We felt as if God was dancing and singing with us – as if our worship really was rising as incense before His throne.

Become like children before God - and hear the Lion of Judah ROAR.
