Sunday Diary

Is It Starting?

We had a wonderful morning meeting this Sunday. First the was some amazing praise and worship as our new electronic baby grand piano was ‘christened’ and used for the first time. Then 14 people were welcomed as new members of the church. They were presented with their official Membership Certificates, then the whole church prayed for them all. Next came some more praise and worship and oh, the anointing. Our pastor played the piano and our P&W Leader gave a beautiful and moving rendition of The Lord’s Prayer.

It was appropriate to start with the Lord’s Prayer in song as Pastor was winding up his preaching series on it with the final “AMEN”. You sensed it was a bit out of the ordinary as people were openly weeping as Danny sang and as Pastor played. A loud series of “amen’s” resounded around the auditorium while he spoke too. Then came four prophecies – all given to Pastor recently – which, when put together, made a very powerful prophetic statement and which had many people openly weeping again.

We have been seeking a move of God in our town and area recently. Much of our prayer efforts have been co-ordinated to this end. Several prophecies have also been given which point to such a time as this, in this area, and in this town. All the signs point to it. Suddenly the prophets are united in their outpourings – God is on the move in our town, maybe starting in our church. This morning pointed to it and many were talking about it after the meeting. It is my firm belief that the visit of Dr RT Kendall next weekend is no coincidence – rather it may well be God’s orchestration of events about to happen among us.

Is it starting? I don’t know. There appears to be a cloud the size of a man’s hand heading our way. The people are expectant and ready. There is an urgent but cautious desire to be on guard, as watchmen, as the enemy is always active, waiting to pounce, to rob, steal, kill and destroy.

Whether it happens this week or not, to God be ALL the Glory - AMEN – Come Lord Jesus. Take your place among us here.
