Days of Noah
“In
Noah’s day, he told the People it would soon rain but they laughed at him.
Today we are telling people that Jesus will soon reign, but they laugh at us.” –
‘Stop Playing Church’ on FB
These
are the days of Noah.
We
have a message but people laugh at us. In a while they will be begging us to
tell them how to be saved. This is happening already in parts of England – folk
knocking on Christian peoples door to ask how they can be saved !! It’s true.
There is a new flood coming. Not a flood of water but a flood of the Holy
Spirit in such an outpouring that millions who do not yet know Him will be
swept into the Kingdom of God. Young people, old people, school children,
seniors, families, teens twenties and thirty somethings – all will want to come
to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
Age
is not now, nor never has been, a barrier in God’s Kingdom. Class has never
existed in God’s Kingdom. Wealth and poverty have never existed in God’s
Kingdom. Creed or belief system has never been a barrier in God’s Kingdom
because, come the day, every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus
Christ is Lord.
These
are the days and this is the time of Amos 8:11 ““Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord
God, “That I will send a famine on the
land, Not a famine of bread, Nor a thirst for water, But of hearing the words
of the Lord.” To paraphrase that – “There is a new flood coming. Not a flood of
water but a flood of the Holy Spirit.”
These
are the days of Noah. The drought of God’s Word is over. The days of a flood of
the Holy Spirit are upon us. The days of Acts 1:8 are here – “But you shall receive power when the Holy
Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in
all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” Witnesses to
Jesus – and the people will come running once again.
Oh
– Bring it on Lord, Bring it on.
