Time to Get Real

Time is short. God is preparing to visit us one more time before He comes for His Bride. The chips are down and it’s time to stop fooling around with God. It’s time to get real with Him, about Him, and for Him. Time to stop playing at church and time to start being Church.

I heard that Jesus put more people off than He drew to Himself. Maybe we need to stop pussy-footing around, being overly PC, and started to talk to people like He did?

An interesting word just came to me. "Get everyone ready. It's about to start. Get all you can into church this weekend - they will see me start to move among you." I find it not very co-incidental that we have a visiting speaker this week. How often in the past has an outbreak occurred when a different speaker has been preaching? Steve Hill at Pensacola - Randy Clark at Toronto. Hmmm

If we disregard this ‘warning’ then nothing may well happen, but if we heed it, then who knows what may happen. It really is time to get real and to get serious with God. The fire is falling in different ‘hot spots’ around the UK at the moment. The fire has been falling in various places around the USA for the past few years. Why has there not been full blown revival in the States? Perhaps it was because folk didn’t take God seriously enough or perhaps they became blasé about the move they experienced. Or maybe people so devalued the word “revival” that God devalued it too. We must not do this here in the UK.

In recent years there have been several words about revival in the UK. Is now the time? Is it our ‘turn’? How will we handle it? With reverence and respect I hope. We, the UK, and the rest of the Western world needs revival so badly. We need a move of God’s Holy Spirit to waken us up, to prepare us for the last few days before Jesus comes for His Bride. Yet why limit God to the West? Why not invite Him to spread the outpouring of His Spirit all over the world?

As the prophet Joel said, “And it shall come to pass afterward That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions.  And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days. And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth: Blood and fire and pillars of smoke.  The sun shall be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord.  And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved.” Joel 2:28-32
