Prayer for your neighbourhood
Lord
Your Word says you have many names.
Your
Word says that you are Jehovah Jireh – God our provider. Will you not be the
provider for the people of our community. Providing jobs, providing food and
clothing, providing enough to live and enough to give, Lord. Lord we invite you
to come, be our provider – Jehovah Jireh.
Lord,
Your Word says that you are Jehovah Rapha, God our healer. Lord, even as Your
Word says, Lord, will you not heal all the diseases in our area, any coughs and
colds, any viruses, and any quarrels or disagreements, Lord. Lord, we invite
you to come, be our healer – Jehovah Rapha.
Lord,
Your Word says that you are Jehovah Shalom, God our peace. Lord, as your name
implies, you are the God who brings us
peace, gives us peace, and keeps us at peace. Peace in our hearts, minds, and
spirit, and peace with all those around us. Lord, we invite you to come and be
God our peace, Jehovah Shalom
Lord,
Your Word says that you are Jehovah Nissi, God our banner, looking over those
who have no other protection but you. Lord, we invite you to be our banner,
Jehovah Nissi.
Lord,
Your Word says you are Jehovah Tsidkenu, God our Righteousness. We can never be
righteous in our own standing, yet by your grace and mercy you make us
Righteous through the Blood of Jesus. Lord, we invite you today to be God our Righteousness,
Jehovah Tsidkenu.
Finally
Lord, Your Word says you are Emmanuel, God with us. Oh, what a privilege, Lord,
to think that you came from your place in Glory just for us – to be with us and
to pay the price to save us. Thank you Lord, will you not stay with us today
and always as Emmanuel – our God with and among us.
You
Lord, the Lord God Almighty, are our provider, our healer, our peace, our
banner, our righteousness, with us – all these things just for us. Bless our neighbourhood Lord with all your
gifts. Lift up your people Lord, raise them, promote them, prosper them, heal them,
heal our land. Do not let a single one of your people around here fall away
Lord. Bring salvation to all who will listen Lord – and if they wont listen,
turn their heads and their hearts anyway.
Thank
you Lord
In
the Precious Name of Jesus
